This course is for those who wish to fly for recreational purposes and it is also the first course to take should you wish to start your career as a professional pilot. Qualifications
- Age of applicant must be 17 years old and above.
- Must be physically and mentally fit. Applicant shall take the Aeromedical Examinations in the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
- Capable of reading, writing, and speaking in English. Student will take an English Language Proficiency Test in CAAP.
Enrollment Requirements
- Class 2 Medical Exam Certificate from CAAP (The medical exams includes a Visual Acuity Test, Color & Depth Perception Test, ECG, X-Ray, Drug Test, Pure-Tone Audiometry Test, and Dental Examination.)
- Original copy of NBI Clearance
- Two (2) valid IDs (e.g. Driver’s License, SSS ID, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, Passport)
- Latest 2×2 ID picture (White background only)
- Original copy of Birth Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are we allowed to receive compensation after completing Private Pilot License course?
No, you cannot fly for compensation or be hired for employment. In other words, you are not yet authorized in any actual flying job.
Is there a maximum age limitation to take any course?
None. As long as you are medically fit and you passed all the medical exams that CAAP requires for a Student Pilot License.
